“We are devastated” That announcement was made on the “Today Show” by Savannah Guthrie

Matt Lauer was the cornerstone of the “Today” show, one of the most popular and most profitable franchises on American television.

Several news outlets were investigating Lauer’s off-camera conduct.

Lack said it was the first complaint lodged against Lauer in his career at the network. Lack said “we were also presented with reason to believe this may not have been an isolated incident.”
